When you are a blogger and living with chronic pain, you can very easily struggle to find the right words to even start a blog post. Using a list like the one above is very helpful. Do a Pinterest search for other summer blog ideas, and also at other times of the year or for your particular blogging niche.
A blog post doesn’t need to be long.
It just needs to answer a question, help your readers or provide inspiration.
In the summer your working from home routine may change. Perhaps you get up earlier in the lighter mornings and get some work done before the temperatures really soar. Perhaps you prefer to come inside in the afternoon to work in the relatively cool of your office after sunbathing with a good book.
Summer passes so quickly (especially here in the UK !) and I personally treasure the warmer and longer days. Today I am up earlier than usual (as my farmer hubby went out to get on with tractor work so we can get away for a short break later in the week) and sitting at my computer. I can get outside later to do some gardening and relax. If your mind is full of summer blog ideas, then get them onto paper or your screen.
Creating passive income when you are living with chronic pain and/or fatigue is always valuable, but in the summer it truly enables you to live the lifestyle that you want and need. I can get away for a few days of sightseeing and motorhome shopping (yes, after selling our van last year, we really miss the freedom of #vanlife and looking for another one). I can go for a walk on the coast and perhaps even go for a swim in the sea. I can relax in the garden when I am feeling sore after travelling. I can also book some housesitting jobs, and still work whilst caring for other people’s pets (more about this in another blog post).
