Good morning from a chilly Pembrokeshire. For the last few days I have been wishing that the heating was still on and putting on extra clothes/wrapping myself in a blanket when watching tv. The weather forecast shows warmer temperatures coming, which I am definitely looking forward to. At least Decluttering Craft Room tasks are slowly getting completed. When the weather improves I will be off to the beach more for a paddle (or even a swim!).
No crafting has happened this week. I didn’t even go to the Tuesday Papercrafting Group yesterday. My Fibromyalgia symptoms were flaring when I woke up after not enough sleep, and more boring tasks such as getting insurance quotes were piling up in my mind, so I took an extra day to get housework/office work completed. That worked well and I even found the energy to go into town and do a bit of shopping in the evening, which I haven’t done for ages (most of my shopping is done online).
Here are the lovely ATCs I received as part of the Anniversary Swap last week. Thank you so much to everyone. It was wonderful to receive some ‘Happy Post’.
So far I have a good selection of larger craft stash items to sell or donate. The more expensive items will be listed in various Facebook selling groups and on Marketplace, plus Freeads, this week. If you see anything that you might like, then email me at ali@balancinglifewithchronicpain.com. If there is anything that you are looking for, then also email me, as I may well have it in my room somewhere.
My Craft Room is currently at the difficult stage of looking more cluttered, as there is stuff piled up and photos to scan/paperwork to sort. However, I know that as I work through, it will become and simpler/cleaner area for me to work in and be creative. I have two blog posts with advice on how to do the same process for your craft room/area.

Hi there! That’s a lovely crop of ATCs you have there, thank you so much for yours, I’ve really enjoyed all the happy mail coming through the letterbox every day! You’re doing a good job repurposing your craft stuff, it’s a good feeling to know that others will enjoy the stuff that you no longer want.
It would be lovely to see you if you’re in BP on Saturday – I’ve got a stall at the Maker’s Market in Pembrey Memorial Hall until 2pm, so if you want a quick cuppa, I should be back home by 3. If Rich has finished his cycling by then, he’s welcome too!

It always looks worse before it gets better – tidying that is. My daughter has been recently diagnosed with Fybromyalgia and is suffering. She does insist in trying to work through the pain and doesn’t listen to her mother who has been there. She is going to physio which makes it worse (the hospital stopped my physio as I couldn’t get out of the hydrotherapy pool afterwards.). Hoping your flare up doesn’t last too long. Angela #16
Things always look more untidy before you finish tidying and decluttering Ali. So sorry to hear that you were not well enough for your craft group this week. Hope things settle down a bit soon. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
I do love a Grand Tidy. I get itchy if I don’t do it a couple times a year! The local craft club loves ne – they get so much stuff every time LOL! Love seeing the ATCs on display – I love swap week but the next week when you get to see all of them? So much fun!
